My 2025 top nine podcasts/audiodramas
Feb. 7th, 2026 11:20 amI've been a happy Overcast user for years. Last September I switched phones and the newer version of Overcast offers cool listening stats and collages.
In total, I listened 307 hrs of audiodrama and podcasts last year. Up until the end of May, most of it happened when I walked the dog, but after she died, the time I spent listening dropped quite a lot. (As a comparison: my 2024 total was 538hrs and 2023 was 531hrs)

Date: 2026-02-08 09:23 am (UTC)Steal the Stars is what the feed was originally called and it was about that story. There was S2, too...or talks about it, I think? At some point they did a complete 180° and now Steal the Stars is the only audio drama permanently available, and the feed offers audiobooks (MacMillan, to be specific) as each new "season." Arkady Martine's A Memory Called Empire, Becky Chambers' A Psalm for the Wild-Built, Travis Baldree's Legends & Lattes, and T. Kingfisher's Nettle & Bone are just some that have appeared there. I recommend subscribing to the feed and setting downloads for automatic.
